Every Bill Heard Enterprises Inc. store has at least one interested buyer, said a former Bill Heard manager who has received calls from potential purchasers.
The company, formerly the world’s top-selling Chevrolet dealership group, is seeking to sell its 14 stores in seven states after it filed for Chapter 11 protection on Sunday.

Heard’s two Florida stores and the Scottsdale, Ariz., store were the dealership group’s biggest financial burdens, the former manager said. The other stores were “OK,” he said.
