Information will be mailed to carhaul Teamsters next week about the next steps in the contract campaign.
After ballots were counted August 12, it was learned that carhaul members voted to reject the proposed 2008-2011 National Master Automobile Transporters Agreement and all of its supplements.
“We will begin negotiations in the near future and we are hopeful we can resolve this contract without going on strike,” said Fred Zuckerman, Director of the Teamsters Carhaul Division.

Give me a break “After ballots were counted August 12, it was learned that carhaul members voted to reject the proposed 2008-2011 National Master Automobile Transporters Agreement and all of its supplements.” We all knew that POS contract was not gonna pass and they are gonna play it off as what a shocking surprise, and if thats true and they were shocked I really think we need reps that a clue on reality

YOUR EXACTLY RIGHT THERE GONZO, AS FAR AS I’M CONCERNED THEY CAN START AT THE TOP WITH SUCKERMAN, AND BUZZY , THEN EVERY BA THAT VOTED TO PRESENT THIS POS CONTRACT TO THE MEMBERSHIP , SHOULD BE PUT BACK IN A TRUCK GOING DOWN THE ROAD, EFFIDENTLY THEY HAVE FORGOT WHERE THEY CAME FROM.

you guys act like they’re clueless. They know exactly what they’re doing. I think it’s time for a petition calling for the complete and total replacement of the negotiating commitee, baesd on they’re violation the teamster oath. you know, never knowingly do harm to another teamster. They all know where they came from , and they know they don’t want to go back after the shitty job they have done .

NO COLA NO Practical Miles..I can accept no raise but don’t friggin rape me in the process and expect me to like it, if the companies can ask for a fuel surcharge where is the problem with them giving out COLA from day 1????? And talk about other screw me’s..no insurance the next week after getting laid off?? What the hell was they thinking???

Don’t waste your time giving your input to your BA unless your in 604. Just Try to help your fellow yes voting brothers & sisters understand the true impact of a yes vote. Chains we are the teamsters! We are probably the only ones you’ll here the truth from.

I DON’T THINK I EVER SAID ANYBODY NEGOTIATING THIS CONTRACT WAS CLUELESS, THEY JUST DON’T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THE DRIVERS THAT THEY REPRESENT, WHEN THE 2 MAN COMMITTE WENT TO DETROIT AND MOST OF THEM APPROVED THE DEAL, THEY WOULD APPOVE ANYTHING THAT WAS PUT BEFORE THEM, IT’S ALL POLITICAL, WANTING TO GET AHEAD, AND WANTING TO PUT MORE DRIVERS ON THE PAYROLL OF UNION COMPANIES AT ANY COST, IF IT’S CORRECT THAT THE CENTRAL STATES PENSION FUND LOST 3 BILLION THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF THIS YEAR, SOMEBODY NEEDS TO FIND OUT WHERE THE MONEY WENT, ABOUT TIME THEY GOT SOME FEDERAL OVERSIGHT OVER THE FUND IF IT’S MISMANAGED THIS BAD AND THERE WILLING TO GIVE UP THE FARM FOR A POS CONTRACT JUST TO GET MORE PEOPLE PAYING INTO THE FUND, MAYBE THEY SHOULDN’T HAVE LET UPS BAIL!!!!!
