This contract is the the deal breaker for our wonderful union leaders. I have said it in the past in all my post, that this was in the works.The cost of living is sky high, not including gas prices and expenses that we all have to maintain our families. These rich punks that run our Union are selling us out, if they are proposing a half rate pay cut. The running mile will do just that, and you will never see our current rate, and the poor Allied guys will get another pay cut on top of the the most recent cut. The PTS freight has been divided by the big boys on the block, and they are going to make more money than ever. They know July is the dog days of the the car hauler, so what a good time to propose a contract and give a BS bonus to help ratify it. The guys on the bottom of all the boards, who are currently lay-ed-off are the missing link, because they are in need of some serious cash. If that is the case, then those drivers will be paid to give up there jobs forever. Don’t forget the Article 48 issue, that is attached to this BS contract. You will never be called back to work, because they got other terminals covering your freight. Do you all know that it cost the companies $2000 to maintain your benefits and pensions a month. Ten guys lay-ed off at one terminal is $20,000 a month they save. That is just one terminal, imagine 100 men lay-ed off, that equals $200,000 in a month. This is it and you better know, that they will do what ever it takes to limit the work force. Article 48 will save them a ton of money, so VOTE: NO WAY HOFFA

THE PROBLEM IS GOING TO LIE IN GETTING THE WORD OUT IF THE CONTRACT SUCKS, WHICH AS HUSH HUSH IT IS BEING KEPT IT PROBABLY DOES,ALSO THE TIME BETWEEN WHEN THE BALLOTS ARE BEING SENT OUT AND THEY HAVE TO BE RETURNED THERE IS A LOT OF LAYOFF’S AND UNINFORMED DRIVERS. BEEN HEARING THAT FIRST LEG OUT WOULD BE FULL RATE THEN THE REST OF THE LOADS WOULD BE RUNNING MILE, AND THEY WILL BE ABLE TO DISPATCH YOU 5 (FIVE) TIMES BEFORE YOU CAN REQUEST TO GO HOME, EVEN THE LONGEST LEG AT FULL RATE WOULD BE BETTER, BUT YOU WILL PROBABLY PULL THE FIRST LOAD AND THE EMPTY MILES TO YOUR NEXT LOAD WOULD BE FREE. 48 IS COMPLETELY GUTTED , ,THERE IS NO PROTECTION AS THEY CAN DISPATCH YOU ON A 100 MILE TRIP THAN TO ANOTHER TERMINAL FOR A LONG LOAD AT RUNNING MILE AND YOU WILL BE OFF AND RUNNING. ALSO HEARD THAT ALL NEW BUSINESS AQUIRED FROM NON-UNION TRUCKS WOULD BE RUNNING MILE, PROBABLY ALSO INCLUDES NEW PLANTS COMING ONLINE. GOT NEWS FOR THEM, MOST OF US HAVE FAMILY’S AND THAT’S THE MAIN REASON WHY WE WORK, WHEN WE CAN’T GET HOME THERE WILL BE ALOT OF TURNOVER , PROBABLY LOOKING AT COMPUTER LOGS AND DISPATCH IN THE FUTURE ALSO, A FAIR CONTRACT WOULD BE ABOUT A 5% RAISE THE FIRST YEAR AND 4% THERE AFTER, THE UNION THINKS ALL THIS WAGE CUTTING WILL CREATE JOBS , JUST LIKE THE ARTICLE 22 WAS SUPPOSE TO, THE UNION DOESN’T CARE WHAT WE MAKE AS LONG AS WE PAY DUES , AND IF THEY COULD GET A THOUSAND NEW MEMBERS BY CUTTING OUR WAGES TO .50 CENTS A MILE THEY WOULD PROBABLY DO IT. AS FAR AS THE ONE’S THAT ARE SELLING US OUT, MOST OF THEM ARE NOT EVEN CARHAULERS, CAME FROM FREIGHT, ALSO HEARD THAT THEY WILL BE ABLE TO SHIP OUT 20% OF THE BOARD TO HOT SPOTS AND HAUL THE GRAVEY.PROBABLY MY GRAVEY IF THERE IS ANY.

Everything you heard is true, and we have to get the word out. A no vote and strike authorization will make them change their toon. We have been sold out by Hoffa and Zuckerman, and we pay then their wages. We must cut the head of the snakes, before they poison us all.

I don’t think that any of this matters at all. I think that the Union has sold us out to the point where your individual vote won’t make a difference. I have no faith in our local union anymore. We have been told lie after lie, over the past 2 years. The fucking fix is in boys!!! We all need to vote no just to see what would happen next. They probably have a planned response to that too. I am without a job right now, and I don’t even want to work for a union company anymore.If the changes they want to take place pass, a non-union job will pay about the same anyway. I can’t believe what has happened to our industry, the union leaders that allowed this to happen on their watch should be ashamed of themselves. And they should be made to answer, by being fired…power corrupts. and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
