PTS President/CEO Jeffrey Cornish has asked Teamsters Carhaul Division Director Fred Zuckerman to sit down for contract talks, and Zuckerman said the union is willing to meet on Thursday, June 12 in Cleveland.
However, the union will continue the strike against PTS in the meantime. Cornish, in his letter dated today, had also asked that the union end the strike until the meeting takes place, although Cornish stated that ending the strike was not a condition to having the meeting. (more…)
