Rumor has it Ford will announce an Indefinite Layoff starting April 1

Combined with GM’S Axle Strike things couldn’t get any worse for the carhaul Industry

    greetings from canada
    the big wheel at the ford oakville ontario plant that builds the ford edge and lincoln mx has just notified the public that they will increase production and add extra shifts after summer shutdown.
    ford oakville will hire approximatly 700 new workers for the assembly plant in addition to the 200 summer students.
    production will increase to 1330 units per day.
    great news for all of us

    Thats after the summer shutdown so we will have to wait till then. Thats the first sign of an increase in production.
